Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art's Studio Sessions & Atelier Programs have a wide array of courses, which is effective in developing artists from all stages of their artistic careers.

The Studio Sessions Program is geared toward the working arts professional, part-time student, and recreational artist who are unable to attend our Full-time Atelier Program, but want serious art instruction from our highly qualified faculty. These classes are conveniently offered weekdays, weekends, and evenings to fit your busy schedule.

LAAFA/Atelier is breaking new ground in fundamental artistic training, with a program rooted in classical traditions while addressing progressive conceptual ideas of the contemporary scene. LAAFA/Atelier strives to prepare artists of the 21st century, to be well versed in the accurate depiction of light and form, while maintaining a clear understanding of visual storytelling and composition.
