Starring Sylvia Brooks … and her fabulous sextet

Starting on October 3rd, Sylvia Brooks will make her debut performance at the M Bar for a much anticipated series of late night performances. As a rave review of her recent appearance at Catalina Bar & Grill states … “Ms. Brooks’ dynamic performance backed by her immensely talented musicians brings something innovative and alive to the stage…” “Ms. Brooks is certainly here and that is definitely a great thing!”
Tom Garvin, who has written and arranged for Diana Krall, Anita Baker, Sarah Vaughn and Carmen McRae, has worked closely with Ms. Brooks to masterfully craft an outstanding selection of songs from The Great American Songbook, guaranteeing an evening of uniquely rich and original music.
