A 2006/2007 Ramada Presidents Award winner, the Ramada Plaza stands even taller than the stately palm trees along West Katella Avenue. Business and holiday travelers alike will find it a comfortable and convenient base of operations. The hotel is one block from the Anaheim Convention Center, a block and a half from Disneyland, and two blocks from the shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney. It’s a short drive from Edison International Field (home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim), the Honda Center (home of the Anaheim Ducks) and Knott’s Berry Farm (home of Cordelia Knott’s fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits and boysenberry pie, as well as several dozen roller coasters and other rides). It’s also close to Adventure City, which may be one of the smallest amusement parks in California, but, at $13.95, also has one of the smallest admission prices. Junior Captain Hooks and Maid Marians will be keen to sample the festivities and the bill of fare at Pirates Dinner Adventure and Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, both in Buena Park. The Ramada Plaza’s downstairs restaurant, Gandhi Palace, is a family-owned Indian eatery that serves up hot tandoori, cold mango lassi, American breakfasts and a daily lunch buffet of subcontinental delicacies. Nearby dining options include tapas, sushi and pasta at Downtown Disney. Hotel Features
