Description

Due to the harsh economic downturn, musicians are returning to the grassroots-style of self-promotion, banning together to help keep the Latin music scene alive and growing. Each Wednesday, Mama Juanas showcases this diversity with a variety of bands celebrating this beautiful culture (Upcoming).

Zak Astor is a 16 year old pianist and bandleader who will begin his Senior year at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts in Sept. 2009. Zak has played with all the famous local Salsa Bandleaders including Johnny Polanco, Al Gonzalez, Walter Segundo, Bobby Rodriguez, and Angel Lebron (Mama Juana's).
